The Annual Gaybutante Celebration
Congratulations to the Gaybutantes who were honored at our annual Rainbow Alley fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel.
Gaybutante honors the strength and courage of Denver youth who have embraced their GLBT identity. Modeled after the debutante tradition, Gaybutantes tell their compelling and inspiring coming-out stories in front of a welcoming community of friends and supportive, safe adults.

The Center also honored adults and other youth agencies that have made a positive impact in the GLBT youth community this year. Congratulations to Youth Community Liaison of the Year EnygMirage Raenboe, Adult Community Liaison of the Year Cassidy Hogan, Adult Mentor of the Year Alison Dozier and Gold Advocate Colby McCarthy.
The Gaybutante celebration is always one of our most meaningful events, and undoubtedly one of the most important in the Denver GLBT community.
Thank you to everyone who attended and donated for your support of Gaybutante. Thanks to your genorosity, we raised $20,000 to support Rainbow Alley! Also thank you to our volunteers and sponsors -- without you, we couldn't do what we do!
