Local Transgender Organizations
Gender Identity Center of Colorado
The Gender Identity Center of Colorado at 1151 S Huron St. in Denver is a nonprofit corporation organized in 1978 and incorporated in June 1980. The organization was formed to provide support to anyone who is gender varient in thier gender identity and expression. The Gender Identity Center of Colorado is also an informational and educational resource to the community at large.

It Takes A Village
It Takes A Village in Aurora provides support, outreach, help finding resources, groups and HIV prevention/care for the Denver metro transgender community in its TransAction program. Groups meet every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 1477 Lima Street in Aurora. Dinner is provided. Or you can stop in any weekday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to talk, have a cup of coffee, or find assistance.
